Come join in the Paddle The Llano activities
Paddle the Llano Activities Group can be found on Facebook for events scheduled. We try to paddle twice a week somewhere. The weather is hot and the water is low due to lack of rainfall in the area, so we have been sticking to the lakes in the area. River trips will be planned later during higher waters. Message me if you are interested in getting out on the water this week.
Lakes we might be paddling on are:
- Badu Park Llano Spillway Lake
- Robinson Park Spillway Lake
- Inks Lake
- Lake Buchanan
- Lake LBJ
- Lake Marble Falls
- Lake Travis
.....just to name a few.
Other activities might include:
- Hiking
- Live Music & Dancing
- Happy Hour events
- Wine Tasting
- Camping
- Picnics
Please join us on a scheduled Paddle or any of our other event we plan to attend.

Tickets: No Cost, unless it is a lake within a state or national park. If you share a ride with someone, a few bucks for gas is a kind gesture.

What's New in the News
Railroad News
If you have driven over the bridge at any given time over the last year and half, you most likely have seen the dark blue with yellow lettering caboose and rail car positioned near the road. The Llano River Railroad has been renovating both of these historical cars. They are now building a Museum to share the history of the Llano Railroad and hopefully sometime in the near future they will be offering rail car rides along the river. Check out their website and join in supporting this non-profit. Chris Slade and Steve Roberts have been working long and hard on making this happen along with the founding members of the Llano River Railroad. https://llanoriverrailroad.org/
NEW Thai Restaurant in Llano
Super excited to welcome a new Thai restaurant to Llano. I love Thai food. With said you will see me with all my friends checking it out. I have high hopes as it is one om fav's.

There is new 4L Western Wear (FB link) located right next to the Hair Salon, next to the alley, 3 doors up from the Llano Craft DIstillery. They have some really cute apparel for women mostly, at this moment. Go in and say hi, check out their goods. Welcome to the neighborhood.
WHO HAS MOVED...
There are so many great things happening in Llano. Wild Weed has moved to Main Street and Mary has added a Tea Bar to add to the special character of her shop. LTX MERCANTILE Mens Quality Apparel. I just shopped at LTX for a gift for a friend the other day. I was super happy with the items he is offering. Quality to me is super important. We work to hard for our dollars to spend it on cheap items that are soon to be thrown away and require quick replacement. That will cost more money that just buying quality that will last the first time. My Nana always said "to make things last, buy good quality, it wears longer and fits better". She was right. The Historical Norton Mansion on the Hill
This beautiful building is open to the public now. The Stinson Distillery has purchased this home and now it is a place of gathering. The Tasting room is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The outdoor area is open offering bar and bbq items. They are looking to adding a covered addition to the outdoor area. Music will be entertaining you periodically for special events. They are open to renting the manion for special events, weddings, anniversaries, etc. Check them out.
